Shape of the Line, guest curated by Amanda Schneider, opens at Fair Folks in New York on Saturday, March 12. We were such fans of Amanda’s fine art salon in Williamsburg, Dunham Place Salon, that we asked her to hop the river and put on a show for us, in Manhattan. In “Shape of the Line,” she has brought together work by emerging and established artists, across a variety of media, to explore the dynamic nature of the line. The work presented demonstrates how line can be more than a delineation of form: it can be a point in motion, it can be an illusion, and it can be the subject itself.
