Jolie and Elizabeth

Jolie and Elizabeth is one of my favorite New Orleans based clothing labels, and I’m beside myself with excitement that we’ll be hosting a trunk show for them tomorrow evening. Founded in the spring of 2010, the line draws inspiration from New Orleans and the South in the form of astute takes on classic garments such as lightweight seersucker frocks and cocktail dresses with flirty sweetheart necklines.

Aside from just making lovely clothes, J+E is also committed to supporting the New Orleans and Gulf Coast communities. All of their products are manufactured in Louisiana, and a portion of every sale from their Heart NOLA tee shirt collection will be donated to the local environmental non-profit, Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana

Awesome clothes, local flair, and environmental and social consciousness – how could anyone not love that? Join us Thursday the 26th and support the amazingly talented women of Jolie and Elizabeth: the early bird preview will be 2:00-5:00, and the trunk show featuring cocktails by Old New Orleans Rum and a chance to meet the designers will be from 6:00-9:00

J+E will be presenting their Fall/ Winter Collection, including tailgate dresses, cocktail dresses, bow belts, bow clips, headbands, skirts, and Heart Nola items. A special section of end of summer seersucker items will also be available, and Jolie and Elizabeth will be debuting their unique Katrina Memorial bracelet designed for the 5 year anniversary. A raffle of J+E designs will be held starting at 6:00.
